I can't be the only one who thinks the No white after Labor Day rule is completely stupid, right? I mean, for one, it's totally an American thing. Girls all over the rest of the planet wear white whenever the hell they feel like it, unlike here, where everyone seems to have adopted this attitude where wearing certain colors at certain times of the year are prohibited. I say to that, you're missing out.
White in the winter just feels right. White in the summer feels right, too, which is why it's so easy to pull off during the warmer months. During the Fall and Winter, I feel like people may not know how to rock it.
Today, I went for a casual-ish approach, boyfriend jeans and heels. The jacket adds texture (and warmth, because it's actually really cold outside now, hence why I commandeered my apartment's laundry room for this shoot), and dresses up an otherwise masculine and plain outfit. This is an easy look for anyone to pull off, I think. Adding a structured jacket/blazer to most anything will upgrade it instantly!
