Winter Is Here

snow07Let it snow, baby! I was more than a little stoked when I woke up this morning, and saw massive snowflakes falling down on us here in the DC Area. Personally, snow is my favorite type of weather, after rain. I love the warmth of Summer, don't get me wrong, but, in the Winter it should be cold, and more importantly, it should be snowing. A snow day for me, means, hot cocoa, movies, and other sloth-like activities. It feels especially nice seeing snow fall, now that the Christmas tree is up, and lit, it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas, for real. For the last couple of years, we've had very mild Winters, they were coldish, and we rarely got any snow. This year, it's already snowed twice, so I can only hope that means we're in for lots more as the season progresses.snow03snow01snow02snow05snow06This is also a perfect opportunity to wear some of my faux fur pieces that I bought at the end of last Winter (while they were on sale!); I love this one from Forever 21, its ruby color makes me feel like royalty, especially paired with this cape! I'm doing my best Game of Thrones impression here, ha! I wasn't outside for too long, as I prefer to enjoy my snow days from the comfort, and warmth, of the indoors. I just wanted to peek outside before it all melts, and before all the dogs turn it yellow.

If you're having a day off because of the snow, enjoy! Stay warm!

xx,

The Glossier
