NYC LOOKBOOK: LOOK #2 - LACY LITTLE NUMBER
LACE04.jpg

LACE05Yesterday I went over my first look during our trip to NYC, last weekend. Today is look number two! Right after we left our networking event, we met up with our friend Rachel for drinks at DRAM in Brooklyn! SInce Clariza and I were dying to get out of our heels, and change into more comfy clothes afterwards, I opted for a playful take on tshirt and jeans.

LACE06LACE01Because we changed pretty quickly, all my jewelry and accessories stayed the sameβ€”I even had on the same leather jacket, and a scarf with this look (it was pretty chilly at night), but I totally forgot to reshoot them! So just use your imaginations a little bit. Instead of totally flat shoes, I went with cute cut out boots, just to balance out the frilliness of my top and accessories. I bought this top a month ago at Forever 21 when I was in Charlotte, and have been itching to wear it ever since! I love how it juxtaposes so well with jeans and leather details, but, that I can also, of course, dress it up. My goal for the summer (since DC is miserable) is to wear as many crop tops, and sheer shirts as I can stand! If it weren't socially frowned upon, and I didn't have a fashion blog to run, I'd probably just be naked. We actually got our first taste of summer with yesterday's nearly 80 degree weather, and this shirt was exactly what I needed for me to feel the breeze, while I was shooting this look.LACE07LACE03LACE02Anyway, it was my first time going to DRAM, and I loved the entire vibe it had there. I'll be making a huge photo post of our adventure, and I'll go into more detail about it there, but, I totally loved it, and would recommend it to anyone who is in the vicinity looking for a chill place to have a drink and chat with friends.

Stay tuned for my third and final look from our girl's trip to New York!

xx,
