This is the summer of suffering. We either have torrential downpour rain, or scorching temperatures, and nothing in between. I'm definitely pairing down my wardrobe a bit, i.e. I ditched the jackets—for now, summer has won.I thought I'd switch it up though, and wear something kind of easy but sophisticated. I live for neutrals, and so I just gravitated to this palette. I've been loving pencil skirts lately, and this one from Ann Taylor Loft is a great fit on me. Since I'm obviously not going to work (I almost typed werk, Lord help me), I dressed it down with a cute ribbed crop top from Forever 21. The heels are surprisingly from Charlotte Russe, and the flash lens sunglasses are thrifted. I'm still totally loving gold jewelry this summer, and I've added another Luca Jewelry piece to my collection. I love the minimalism of bar necklaces, and I love wearing the vertical and horizontal bars together, it's really simple yet elegant. If you haven't already signed up for my newsletter, be sure to do that soon, I'll be announcing a giveaway where you can win a Luca Jewelry necklace!
Anyway, I know it's too hot to exist, let alone get dressed, but I'd still love to hear what some of your favorite summer looks are, or tips on staying cool. Oh, and if you're a blogger reading this, comment with your URL, I want to check out some new blogs! :)
