Candy Girls

More and more, lately, I've been toying with the idea of coloring my hair to some pretty pastel shade. For the last three years, colored hair has gone from, just dip-dyed ends, to mermaid-like ombre, to whimsical faded/pastel hues—dying your hair some unnatural color is no longer for the goth kids exclusively.

I was thinking of bleaching my own hair, but, realistically, for the colors I want (which are the faded/pastel/grungy looking ones), I would need to bleach my hair to white, I don't think my hair could withstand that. I've been researching different lacefront wigs, and I think, that's the route I'm going to go. With a wig, I can be as aggressive as I want with coloring; human wigs still need TLC just like your own hair does, but, I'll be a lot less bummed with my wig shedding, than my actual hair, so, that's the tradeoff for me.

I'm trying to narrow down my choices, as far as which color I'd want to put in first, aqua hair has been my ideal for as long as I can remember, and I think it'll be really flattering on my skintone, too. Lilacs, and rosy-pinks are also on my list, even silvery-blue has its appeal—so many choices! AH!

Now that Spring, and Summer are just around the corner, it's the perfect opportunity to try out a new look—Spring is all about renewal, right?

Which color would you guys go with, if you wanted to dye your hair?
