DIY: Tassel Heels (Inspired by HonestlyWTF)

Looking for something to do this weekend? Try out this quick and easy Tassel Heels tutorial from HonestlyWTF!

I saw this awesome DIY Tassel Sandals post from HonestlyWTF last year, and have been itching to do it ever since! It's such a quick and easy way to glam up any pair of shoes, or sandals you may have, be sure to hop over to their site, to get the instructions!

I thought this DIY would be especially perfect in the summer, since we're all wearing shorts and skirts right now, our ankles could use a little accessorizing from time to time. Unlike the HonestlyWTF version where they took out the ankle strap in their heels, and replaced it with their tassel rope, I just preferred to tie mine around my ankle (double knot so they don't fall off!), so that I could essentially use these with whatever pair of shoes I fancied at the time. It would even look cute around my waist! :)

I couldn't find any gold coins on short notice, but, I did find these super cute Queen Bee charms at my local art supply store, and I think they're a perfect way to achieve the look of the original DIY, but, I've added my own little twist!

I can definitely see myself making several versions of this project, now that I know how simple it is. This is one of those things that any person can do, and it makes such a big impact on your outfit, with such minimal effort. You guys know I'm all about that.

If you try this, let me know, I'd love to see what everyone comes up with!

Happy Friday & Have a great weekend!
