White Night

The-Glossier-Fashion-Style-Blogger-DC-White-Jumpsuit-Solange-Outfit-Lookbook-6This isn't a full-on outfit post, but, I wanted to share what I wore to the Philippine Design, Textiles, and Fashion Gala the other night (more info and pics from that event to come).The-Glossier-Fashion-Style-Blogger-DC-White-Jumpsuit-Solange-Outfit-Lookbook-4The-Glossier-Fashion-Style-Blogger-DC-White-Jumpsuit-Solange-Outfit-Lookbook-1The-Glossier-Fashion-Style-Blogger-DC-White-Jumpsuit-Solange-Outfit-Lookbook-7The-Glossier-Fashion-Style-Blogger-DC-White-Jumpsuit-Solange-Outfit-Lookbook-5The-Glossier-Fashion-Style-Blogger-DC-White-Jumpsuit-Solange-Outfit-Lookbook-3Truthfully, I don't know how I managed to keep a white jacket, and jumpsuit stain-free that night, but, I had Christopher take some photos in the parking lot of the Ronald Reagan Building before we left to commemorate this occasion.

The jumpsuit, from Forever 21, is one of my new favorite pieces! I'm not really a jumpsuit kind of girl, but, this one was amazing when I tried it on. It's very tailored-looking at the top, and flowy at the legs. There is a gorgeous criss-cross detail at the back, that I wish I would've gotten some pictures of, but, I totally forgot to turn around. Of course.

I broke up the white with a black bag and shoes—I always fall back into my monochrome ways. The look is topped off with layers of delicate gold jewelry, which just add a little subtle flash. I did feel super disco-y in this, I must say, the wide trousers and the gold jewelry had me looking like I was about to head out to Studio 54 for the night.

I guess the 70s really are back.
