Burning Rubber

Back at it again with the all black—because, what else would I be wearing?

Life has been so serious lately (work blah blah blah), and I thought I would take the edge off with some new shoes. Not just any new shoes, shiny ones. Acrylic ones. Daring ones. I'm going to be real, these are not my usual (boring) cup of tea—and yet, when I saw that an affordable version of these Dior perspex boots were available, my heart squealed with excitement, why? I'll never know, but what I do know is, it's always best to listen to your heart on serious matters, such as buying shoes.

With such a loud boot, I think a simple look is in order to balance them out. Anything from dresses, midi skirts, jeans, or tailored trousers will do the trick, just so long as you remember who the star of the show is, you can't really go wrong. I definitely had a moment when these arrived that was like, "Shit, what do I wear these with?", but as soon as I tried stuff on, these worked with everything—so, if you're on the fence about these, I say take the risk. Totally worth it.
